Yogurt Cheese--Original, Garlic, Jalapeno (8 oz.)

Draining the whey off of our plain, low fat yogurt makes our yogurt cheese. It can be eaten as a dip (with chips or vegetables), topping (on baked potato, taco salad) or a spread (on a bagel or sandwich). Yogurt cheese has the consistency of soft cream cheese, but it doesn't become hard in the refrigerator. Original yogurt cheese has a mild taste similar to cream cheese or sour cream, but with only 25 calories for a two tablespoon serving. Compare that to the 60 calories in sour cream or 100 in cream cheese! Contains live, active cultures.

Yogurt--Creamline and Nonfat (16 oz.)

Our plain yogurt contains no added sugars or gelatins. We offer both nonfat and whole milk (Creamline) yogurt. Because we do not homogenize our milk, the cream rises to the top of the whole milk yogurt-hence the name "creamline yogurt". Ingredients: Grade A Pasteurized cultured whole or skim milk.

 
Butter (8 oz.)

Our farmstead butter is made from the cream from our cows' milk. We offer both unsalted and lightly salted butter. The butter is naturally a lovely yellow because of the cows' grass diet. Many people have told us that our butter "tastes like Grandma's butter".

 

Cottage Cheese--Cream Style (16 oz.)

Our cream style cottage cheese is made with very low fat milk so has only 140 calories per ½ cup serving. It has a smooth and creamy texture-no curds. It can be used in place of sour cream, cream cheese and mascarpone. Our cottage cheese contains live, active cultures. Ingredients: Grade A Pasteurized lowfat cultured milk, salt, microbial rennet.

 

Cream (16 oz.)

Our fresh cream is approximately 40% butterfat, so it can be whipped (add ¼ cup powdered sugar to a pint of cream and beat with a mixer for 10-15 minutes until it stiffens into whipped cream.) Our cream is wonderful in coffee, in soups and in casseroles.

 

Ricotta--curd style and cream style (16 oz.)

We offer both curd style and cream style ricotta. It is most commonly used in dishes such as lasagna, manicotti, etc. Curd style ricotta can be crumbled on salad or into soup. Ingredients: Grade A Pasteurized low fat milk, vinegar, salt.

 

Creamy Onion Dip (16 oz.)

Our onion dip is made from our creamery cottage cheese base. With only 140 calories per ½ cup serving, it's a delicious alternative to most dips. It contains live, active cultures. Ingredients: Grade A Pasteurized lowfat cultured milk, dried onion, onion powder, salt, microbial rennet.

 

Buttermilk (16 oz.)

This buttermilk comes out whenever we turn cream into butter. It does not have to be cultured, because it is fresh. Wonderful for buttermilk pancakes, biscuits, etc.

 

 

Yogurt Cheese Cheesecakes

These delicious cheesecakes are made with yogurt cheese instead of cream cheese. This gives them a light texture with a rich creamy taste. Flavors include: plain, lemon, chocolate chip, raspberry wine, and pumpkin. Please give us two days notice to ensure your choice of flavors.
